Artist and product designer Cec LePage operates a studio and gallery in New York City, where she lives, works and plays. Since moving to New York in 1984, LePage has evolved as a cutting-edge designer through her innovative work with the material Lucite*. Though a gifted artist in many mediums, LePage has truly carved a niche for herself with her beautiful and functional Lucite sculptures.

As a material, Lucite offers the artist great versatility and freedom. LePage effectively manipulates color, light and texture in her artistic process.

While Lucite possesses some of the qualities found in metal and wood, LePage notes, that "it offers a unique fluidity and a reflective quality that is both sensual and soothing." All pieces are handcrafted and signed by the artist and no two pieces are exactly alike.
